RF microneedling using the Fraxis Duo Secret RF hand piece is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and non-ablative procedure use to rejuvenate the appearance of skin texture, pores, scarring, laxity, and wrinkling of the skin. This rejuvenation involves the use of a microneedling and heat (RF) to stimulate collagen induction. The fine needle punctures is used in conjunction with radio frequency pulses to deliver heat to the dermis and creates a micro-wound. The controlled injury triggers the body to produce new collagen and elastin in the dermis. This treatment leads to reduction of scars and skin rejuvenation, i.e., improved skin texture, firmness and hydration. This procedure can be done on all skin types.
