Desirae Macias, PA-C

Desirae Macias, PA-C, is a physician assistant serving patients at Z-Dermatology & Skin Wellness Center located in Huntington Beach, California. 

Desirae is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Physician Assistant Board of the Medical Board of California. She is currently an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Desirae has had an interest in dermatology since she was young, after being significantly influenced by her dermatologists. She received her bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton. She then completed the Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, earning her Master of Science. In 2015, she became board-certified. 

Desirae has over eight years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is very excited to be a part of the elite team at Z-Dermatology & Skin Wellness Center. She is committed to focusing on patient-centered care, comprehensive and preventative monitoring and treatment for skin cancers, and treatment of all dermatologic conditions. 

Outside of the office, Desirae’s interests include spending time with her family (which includes her dog), traveling, and doing DIY projects around her house. Desirae’s goal is to make patients feel great about their skin and to learn something new every day!
