Teresa Zamary, DO, FAAD

Teresa Zamary, DO, FAAD, is the founder of Z-Dermatology & Skin Wellness Center located in Huntington Beach, California. Dr. Zamary is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. With her extensive training and years of experience, she provides comprehensive care with an individualized treatment program for every patient’s needs. 

Dr. Zamary graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. She continued her education at Western University of Health Services in Ponoma, California, earning her medical degree. After graduating, Dr. Zamary completed an internship at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange, followed by her dermatology residency at Pacific Hospital/Western University of Health Sciences in 2014 in Ponoma, California, where she served as chief resident. 

Dr. Zamary takes a patient-centered approach and is a firm believer that successful treatment plans start by intently listening to the patient, communicating, and developing customized treatments. While she offers direct recommendations when necessary, Dr. Zamary is empathetic to her patient’s concerns and strives to provide them with a choice of treatment options when possible.

Dr. Zamary knows no two patients are the same, so she spends ample time understanding the whole health of the patient to determine the best course of action from her toolbox of modern medicine, prescriptions, medical procedures, clinically proven natural, herbal, and botanical modalities, and suggested lifestyle modifications. She believes in the importance of preventative measures and treating the whole self.

With a genuine love for dermatology and providing effective care for those in need, Dr. Zamary has participated in multiple international medical missions that have shaped her humble approach. 

Dr. Zamary was born in Kuwait, lived in Denmark, and moved to California at the age of seven. Being of Danish and Egyptian descent, she appreciates cultural diversity and travels extensively. She has language fluency in English, Spanish, and Danish. 

In her free time, Dr. Zamary enjoys exercising, cooking, going to church, and spending time with her husband, Kirellos, three sons, Christian, Noah, and Teddy, and a labrador named Simon.
